While my contest is running, I have decided that I need to do something else to give back to the community. This is where you all come in. I know you ALL know someone here on DA that makes the community a better place... Someone who gives and gives, expecting nothing in return. I have a ONE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION waiting for just the right person. This is your chance to help give something back to someone who you think truly deserves it. Couple rules though...
They can NOT already have a subscription. I'm hoping to find someone who has never had one.
You can NOT nominate yourself. This is a way to GIVE to others.. not to GET for yourself.

I have my very own team of "judges" that will be helping me to determine the winner of Spring 08's Deserving Deviant Award.
Along with the one year subscription, the winner will be interviewed and their art and interview, featured in a news article.

Oregon-Artists and one here. In celebration of my new Macro lens, I have decided to hold a Macro Photography Contest.
This contest will be open from Today *April 16* until June 1st!
***NOTE*** Just send your entries in a note with "contest" in the subject line.. make sure you specify which category each entry needs to be placed in. Macro or Close-Up. Your entries do NOT have to be new but I always encourage new works because I like to see new things.
There will be two categories, True Macro, and Close-Up.
There will be one winner from each category, one people's choice winner, and one over all winner. Honorable mentions will also be featured.
***NOTE***
You may enter THREE pieces. Please make sure you note me with the thumbs and the category!!
